Idk I just don’t believe a low that deep, rapidly strengthening, and at  that position would throw back such meager precip here. Toss

I am inclined to side with this as well. I mean it does make sense if it occludes too quickly but you still have a good deal of 700mb VV on the northwest side of the low back across CT late Monday morning while NAM is winding down. I still think models are shutting things down a bit too quickly

Too late

My 16.8" a few weeks ago will be my biggest storm of the season....all in on that call, this storm will be more impactful with the wind though, hopefully our over under is 12", but this might be an underperformer out here, overperformer EOR

You’re fine…gonna be great there. The long and short is, It’s a region wide mauling….1ft+-2ft.  Some places will see more depending where banding sets up.

That’s how I lean still as well.  We already got around an inch here from this mornings snow so good start lol

maybe it's me being a weenie but based on the mid levels I would absolutely bet QPF ends up being much higher across Connecticut. Unless things really do shut off that quickly but that mid level evolution and low tracks seem pretty prime to me for CT

Absolutely. I remember Feb 2013 was said to do this too…And it just ripped when it got here.  Gonna be a good one for sure.

I 100% agree with you, but If that band magically dies over CT and redevelops out east, there were be some angry folks lol

I was thinking about that as well this morning.

Disappointing to see the 12z NAM back down a bit around here but the storm still looks great overall.
