I was at BWI and it looked patchy even though my family’s area still has very solid coverage. So I think 12z tomorrow will report a trace. But it was a very memorable run. 23 hours ago, Harv_poor said: Growing up in central NJ, 60-61 was unbelievable. Three major snowstorms of a foot plus, The first, starting on a Saturday night (maybe Dec 9th) and ending Sunday closed schools for the whole week. The other two storms were in Jan and early Feb. Afterwards, I wondered why we did not get storms like that every year. If BWI managed those two consecutive stretches of snowcover, I'm really curious if favored places to the northwest had a continuous 2+ month snowpack that year. It's interesting from a historical perspective b/c there's no satellite data, so there's no way to tell other than personal anecdotes

Mrs.J
0.55 here. Had to drive in it later in the afternoon over to Baltimore to pick up the older Ms. J from a film set. Then drove her back down to DC. Driving on 70, 695 and 95 was not fun. The snow pack created a low fog and along with the rain the glare on the highways made it hard to see if you were in your own lane. Only 200 was decent as the reflective striping was still reflective.

MN Transplant
0.62”. Almost impossible at this point to provide a useful snow depth. 80% of my yard is now grass, but the north facing yards across the street clearly have 3”+ still.
