lol if only.. Euro doesn't spit out too many weenie solutions anymore rare to see a 12z or 00z run do this.. Signal is there but it will change every 6 hours until early next week ..

It's a springy blue bomb, really ... it is... that's a marginal-  profile type of event.   -3 at 800, 0 at 900 and the surface - just in my imagination correcting for random suspects...

What I like about next weekend is there’s been a signal for quite a while now. Probably something decent but uncertain and the euro AI got worse, showing a Miller a sliding off the southeast and middle Atlantic coast although a strong system. But I’m also interested in the 10-11th because euro AI got markedly better with that.

Still waiting on WB maps, but first look seems like EPS is very juicy for Valentines day, and AIFS ens like mid next week a good bit, it's not loading any farther than that though..

I'm so confused?? Last time I checked in we were getting no meaningful snow or precipitation until April? Isn't that what those 384 HR OP runs were showing???

I'm not so sure?  There is something about the look of the large-scale pattern trends, medium range guidance suggestions, and some historical time frames that peaks my interest a bit more than I would normally give to 10-day Outlook.  Over the years I've always liked two February periods; Feb 3-6, and Feb 12-16?  If I were a betting man, I might wager on this upcoming period ( Feb 13-15) breaking our way... In no way a hard and fast forecast and a complete failure is certainly on the table, but I'd spin the storm roulette wheel on that time period.  Add to the mix that I have 2 incredibly important family matters to attend on the 14th could seal the deal... Lol
