Do you do this to your frail old parents too?

My parents are not frail thank you, and if you think I’m Negative, I’m 1/3 my dad.  Again, you pale CLEARLY do not hang around Italians.

OH BUT WAIT….  THERE’S WAY MORE to Come…..

FORGET the Snow - How About the Temperatures!!  I left Tuesday the 20th, which was the 1ST day out got cold - You Guys have been dealing with Historic Cold since Every day and now are in one of the Greatest Deep Winter stretches in the areas history.  Guess when it gets back to normal and starts to melt… THE DAY I GET BACK!!!  ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME!?!?!?

Does the 3-5" that fell last night in E Mass not count toward the full storm totals? I do not see any change from yesterday's totals at the NOAA.gov website.

They are just being slow in updating the PNS. Not sure why it’s THAT slow, but they already announced on social media some of the storm totals so the entire thing is included.

Strong forecast overall yesterday, with the only glitch being that max amounts were a couple of inches higher and more along the coast than expected...in large part due to the fact that the coastal front ended up getting pinned a bit closer to the coast than I had thought.

18.0" Final, 59.22" for the season.

19.6" here, but that pair of 18-inchers keeps you 3.1" ahead.
I've seen 2 storms of 18+ in a winter only twice since moving to Maine, 83-84 (Fort Kent) and 16-17 here.  Saw 2 such winters in a 4-year period in NNJ, 57-58 and 60-61 (had 18, 20 and 24 events that latter winter).

Cat 3 KU?  10-20+ inches from NY metro to central Maine.  Grandkids in SNJ had 6-7" with beaucoup IP and a thin ZR cap, so PHL likely didn't reach 10".

Yep, it just wants to snow. Just like 2015.

I said that on the other thread that some years it just wants to snow and other years it finds every way not to .

I know it's not scientific but it seems that's just how it is.

Kind of surprised by this really a bit by this, But your inland from the coast too and coastal track systems, Got lucky on the IVT here, Its rare to get 2- 18" ones here as well, Lot of variables being in the coastal plain with temps and ratios, But its been a cold winter so far, Further south down towards the grandkids was lower ratio stuff with some warm air aloft, This next one has big potential, Would be great if it trended right, It would give us 18"+ for a third system which is rare air.

Sorry Chris, as a native in this city, goal is to push as much snow as possible, THEN they will go back out and probably widen/wing plow will push banks back in (possibly)

Then trash day, is an issue, we are off one day in the city. My final 20.4" (give or take)

Wasn’t complaining but stating storm ended up being a good one. Thank you for measuring. I’m too lazy. Can’t believe we got near 20.

#8 all-time storm here in Boston.

Hard to complain about that. With this one wrapped up and on the books, 5 of the top 10 storms all-time for Boston will have come since 2013.

Now to take a breather and enjoy some deep winter vibes.

Awesome.

So much for the Meh-teorologists
