This is absolutely wild. Nearly every station reporting S+ with temps in the single digits. MMK6, OXC 5. HVN is warm at 15. Still 6F here.

Went out and measured about half hour ago a little over 7 as an estimate
It’s 9 degrees and heavy snow.

8,7,6.5 in various spots of the yard because I have zero area that is not impacted by wind. So estimating around 7 ish.

1st board clearing and measurement done at 2:30pm (6 hours since start of precip).   7" inches at that time. 11 degrees.  Puking snow. 1/4 mile visibility or less.

SWFE on roids + cold temps. You get a dense amount of crystals and grow them large. That does a real number on the vis.

Absolutely insane…just got back from the walk…it wasn’t fun.  Absolute frigid(6 degrees), with wind and incredibly heavy snow..visibility was an 1/8th mile. What a storm…gonna be some huge totals.

Significant improvement in flake quality.  Vis < 3/4 mile.  Even though the wind is pretty light,with it unobstructed off the river, the flakes are all going sideways.  If there weren't a foot of snow on the ground already, I'd probably have bare ground from this fluff.
