jayyy
Why? To be even more depressed?Yeah, definitely don’t. I’m getting observation texts from my friends I grew up with… getting absolutely smoked in the Hudson valley. Easily hitting 16-18 up there

EHoffman
Just got back from a jebwalk, easily the heaviest sleet I've ever experienced. Pounding. Huge pellets too. Roads are a complete disaster here, passed many stuck cars.
IUsedToHateCold
24.1/21.8 - Still heavy sleet. About to complete last round of shoveling. I am starting to wonder about this coastal.

Except Allison whipping that up. I spent the day cleaning cars and shoveling sugar, so the chili is her jam. The good news is that red wine was required in this recipe. So that’s where we are at for this point of the day.

For those who aren't familiar with the area, this interchange is normally heavily traveled and frequently congested (much like 10,000 other places in the region, lol). mdhokie
So I cleared my drive this morning, now it has a couple inches of sleet. I think I'll let it be until tomorrow morning. I feel like if I do another clearing before dark I'm gonna get some bad glazing overnight.

RandyHolt
Randoms I have never seen NO snow on the sides of cars not even on door handles, yet snow is tucked up under the rear spoilers on SUVs. Shoveling the sleet off of my sidewalk, I see imprints of the concrete - it looks like a plaster mold. But 5 times as heavy. Its tough sledding as a shoveler today. The piles of sleet coming off my roof are pushing 3' and leaving ridges formed on my roof. And a bird just flew into my window. Fire is roaring game is on so its time to start drinking.
jayyy
Stay safe folks east of the bay… gonna get a decent dump of ZR this evening it appears Looking like we’ll stay sleet up this way - west of Westminster. EastCoast NPZ
Still sleeting. Oficially 6" imby. I guess the streak ends at 10-years and 2-days. Not the way i wanted to break it though. This crap is awful shoveling. Heavy as sand. 4

If we get freezing rain you'll need them. Worth their weight in gold on ice. Ours are somewhat less “aggressive”, but still very effective.
