Yep, can basically see it on radar too, sleet line appears to be just south of APG, maybe edgewood, heading Northeast. I'd say maybe 30 mins to an hour. Won't be much longer for me 20 miles NE of HDG. Im happy with this storm. Would have loved a pure snow event till 10pm tonight, but this was still a good storm.

One thing that the HRRR captured well on yesterday’s runs was the slowing/wavering of the sleet line towards far Northern VA. That certainly happened here this morning. HRRR was too slow on timing (NAM was closer) but good on this aspect.

Measured 4 inches of frozen OTG. Just pounding sleet out right now. Roughly 2 inches of sleet already with a ton more precip to go.

From inside I can see sheets of tiny flakes blowing by and it blowing off of the roof now. There's also pounding sleet. Really weird combination.

I eyeballed 5-6 inches around when it flipped. Surprised you only got that much! 

Maybe compacting? I was up around 5:45 when it looked like 4-5.

I'm in between Martinsburg and Hagerstown, but closer to Hagerstown.  Still all snow here.  Right around 6" so far.

Yeah down in the city the pinging quieted down, got a mix going on now. Light flakes and light sleet, latter increasing. Not super heavy. See stuff bouncing.

Yup. Still snow here near Martinsburg. Rimed flakes and clumped aggregates at the moment. Sleet likely within the next few hrs I would imagine
