That site is a mile or two south and lower down than me.  Radiates better than here.  But yeah, chilly night.  Further down in Ludlow at the Springfield Res hit -18 but I am not sure about those Accurite thermometers.  The AWOS at CEF was -15 again.

Coldest start to winter thus far through 1/30 at ORH since 2003-04. We will prob pass that season as colder over the next couple weeks as Feb 2004 warmed up. 
 

On the flip side, 2014-15 will be gaining ground in February.

Honestly don’t mind running in the cold like this .. after a mile I’m always warmed up no matter how cold.

Check around the bathroom stack.  We had a leak from cracked tar around that pipe one snowy winter.  Shoveling the snow away from the stack was a temporary fix and when things warmed up a quart can of tar made it permanent.

Reached -21 this morning but the max will be well above yesterday's windy 9.  Maybe another 40° diurnal range today; the 28th was 17/-23.

Would it surprise you that ORH has had more snow YTD than 2015 ? 8th snowiest 20th coldest. What's encouraging is for  those top 20 coldest years,  the majority had epic February and March.
