...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM SUNDAY TO 8 PM EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 12
  and 17 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Much of Southern New England excluding Martha`s Vineyard,
  Nantucket and Block Island.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Sunday to 8 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult
  to impossible, especially if traveling overnight into the Monday
  morning commute. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday
  morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

Gotcha. This type of system is different, its moving fairly slow, etc. The experts here can better explain.

I'd be fine with that too. Snow's fine but I'd rather not endure a multi-day outtage out of it along the water here. :)

Pretty sunset last night from the parking lot of the Portsmouth traffic circle liquor store as we stopped to get ingredients for delicious Dark Manhattan’s. 
Key feature you’ll likely appreciate- no geese!

They definitely GTFO town this year finally.

Bigger as in a larger geographic spread? Doesn't really make a difference since Jan 22 hit Boston hard. Given the cold, it will be a good stress test for the T.
