from that one storm? seems high, Norfolk at 1,340 had 2.3" which was the highest report i could find. I bet some of that snowpack was from 12/2, that snow never melted going into the December 10th storm. It's been frigid especially up there in higher elevations

I drove up from South Carolina and arrived at about 3 o’clock in the morning on the 10th and there was no snow on the ground then. We had a total of almost four inches of snow, sleet and freezing rain from the December 10 storm, it has been exceptionally cold ever since I got here and very little of that glacier from the 10th has melted.

It’s epic out here , moderate snow, cold , wet base fluffy top.  Kenny g Christmas album while I clear the driveway

That's awesome.  I just finished listening to the Captain and Tennille Christmas Special with guest singer Pat Boone.

Here's a link to the interactive snowfall map that NWS puts out taken from all different sources.

https://www.weather.gov/source/crh/snowmap.html

These get updated as time goes on so some reports are old and new ones still rolling in.

Ill have the 3 maps for SNE/Tri-State/CT in probably a day or so. Unfortunately the timing of this system is such that reports from cocorahs after 7AM today wont be available until after 7AM tomorrow. Ill probably do a first pass for CT as soon as i can. If anyone has reports from SNE let me know by tagging me or you can PM me and ill include them (final reports).

This will be the 2nd 3"+ event of the season so it will make it into the archive, eventually

Your area was sort of the cutoff.  West of the Quabbin is pretty much just a dusting. We had about 30 minutes of light snow in Greenfield earlier but nothing since.  Congrats to southern and eastern peeps.

Yup…that’s what this guy has too. He lives up a long windy driveway, with a few homes on each side as you go up his gravel driveway. He had the big open lot at the top…has a nice big cape with dormers, and a big huge eoetste garage that has a beautiful bar in it…place is gorgeous. His back yard overlooks the valley below, you can see Hartford to the right, and Springfield to the left out in the distance from his yard.  His name is Dennis.

Parts of Greenfield appeared to have more snow than here when I drove through there yesterday.  The side up towards Shelburne Falls etc.

Down to 30 and moderate snow here in Brooklyn NY.

Around 3 inches here. Going to end up around 4ish.

Everyone from LI to NNJ to CNJ to SNJ has above normal snow for December .

Nice storm for many. Enjoy up there.

Congrats

It’s not going to wipe out your pack either, just an encouraging base to build on as your real winter begins.

Easy to forget up here that it’s not even most favorable climo yet. The satellite image tomorrow of Canada to Virginia having snow will be beautiful.
