Ah, good old Clarksburg. You familiar with Peach Tree Road? (West side of 270 runs along a bit of a ridge.) I lived there a long time ago (1981?) Had a big snowstorm with drifts that blocked some roads. Some stranger with a tractor plowed my long circular gravel driveway before I could even come out and say hello. Friendly folks back then, hopefully the same still today.

Snow has picked up just slightly here. Still sitting at 34 but have a dusting and sidewalks and driveway look like they are about to cave. Unless things fail later, hard to see how HRRR won’t bust low for me.

Radar looks good. Snowing ahead of schedule. Feeling good about this one

That band to your NW should make it to you around 11 or a bit after

Such a tease. It pulses right to my doorstep then pulses back north. Just haven’t gotten into the best stuff yet. Western Hoco and NE Moco are where it’s at. Lightened up here some but all surfaces are caving now. Temp still steady at 34.

I wasn't around in the '80s, but over the past 25 years, parts of Clarksburg have changed so much. And somehow, Clarksburg—right here in Montgomery County—has its own microclimate.
