"Two houses up" can be quite different here than in your area.   For instance, for me "two" houses up in one direction is half a mile, in the other direction it is 4 miles.

Unreal mood snow all day . Tough loss but amazing first game for my son .

shovel off the rink before the cutter folks... great now and might still be good after.  Anything unshoveled will likely be skunked.

Luckily, very little snow in Franklin County today so everything should be like glass after the rain.  
Folks are out on the ice fishing everywhere. I’m might walk out on Barton Cove tomorrow with the chisel to see how much ice there is.  Guessing it’s probably 4 to 6 inches.  There’s already a few pop-up shanties set up out there.
