Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy the light snow that's come in overnight.  Looks like a 1/2" on the deck, maybe more in areas sheltered from the wind.

Yep every model. These models ar horrendous.  Cant look at them past 5 days.

GFS is the steadiest with this one. Can’t trust those damn off hour runs especially Euro it’s done this way too many times. My rule of thumb is unless we get two complete model 00z/12z suites by gfs and euro in a row showing a storm I’m not buying it.

Gfs usually has a bias for shredding storms out. Have to see if thats true in this case. Good to see the AIfS and AI gfs show a little event .

06z euro def brought it back…esp for SE areas. I’d want to see the 12z suite as a whole look better though before believing it.

You’re pretty much there…as soon as one model run shows something bad, you’re hemming and hawing, and saying things like melt all the snow at the ski resorts, and sled trails.
