Yeah that band has been great for the Frederick region.  Even we got a decent amount overnight (now that summer is almost over it can rain here)

In Frederick at work and we have had on and off heavy rain since around 8:30AM.  At least 5 rumbles of thunder as well.  Very nice over perform from the showers forecasted.

Don't have a total but got several rounds of very hard rain in Fallston last evening into the overnight. Most welcome.

Up to .56 today.  Add in the .10" I got last evening and this has actually turned into a solid event.  We need a lot more to make up for the past 2 months, but it's a start.

Closing in on 0.50” which is more than most models had for here.

Looking at radar things seem to be winding down. With what I got last night and then today I am sitting at about 1.50”. Honestly I am surprised. I really felt that this would stay South. But it was so needed.

I have .91 so far just southeast of Fallston.

.82 for the event.  First time in a long time the wetter models verified....hopefully we are starting a new trend as we head toward the winter season.

i can't remember the last time it rained for so long. it's wonderful.

all the local wx stations are reporting an inch of rain, more or less.

The radar doesn't show much but there's a continuous stream of heavy rain coming off the bay at my house in Calvert.  It's been dumping all afternoon.

Left at 5:30 this morning with 0.50" in my rain gauge. Returned home at 4:30 with 3.35" in the gague - unbelieveable! I new I was in that band most of the day looking at radar at work, but wow!!

Well... after getting nada (even with radar returns overhead) past 36 hours except a couple sprinkles.... A stray line moving north to south pushing thru here in last 10 minutes. Can't be 5 miles wide but I'm smack in the middle, already over .10 in ten minutes. Looks like maybe 30 minutes or so of rain possible at the current movement.
