What are you guys seeing with these new temp/dewpoint sensors? I haven't seen much discussion on this, but they seem significantly cooler than the legacy sensors. And MUCH higher on humidity, at least in the overnight/mornings. All of a sudden, it's 100% humidity all the time at night around here. Never used to see ASOS throw up a 100% humidity before.

Could be a nocturnal event if the front slows a bit as LP tries to form late Saturday night into Sunday morning, especially areas E and S. Little MUCAPE surge.

Saturday aftn looks pretty darn good from about Winni to near western CT to about ORH and maybe TOL. Obviously Maine too.

Well ... you can definitely tell the solar season is at least changing.   A month ago this gossamer shitty low gray smudge on satellite would have been thermally vanquished by now... replaced with early CU towers.  But watching the visible looping I get the distinct impression that the sun's power is less effective at modulating in the same way.

It probably will but it's going to take until mid day whereas in higher solar times, it's melted away low ceiling types by 9 am
