They'll be a 2 day shot of some cooler weather, but 850T anomalies on the EPS are maybe -1C? Not exactly back breaking. I think we warm again after, but the 00z EPS tried to remain a bit cooler. We'll see if that changes today.

I have to do the thread for the free league. Unfortunately, I won't be doing the pay league this year. It's become exceedingly difficult to find interest. I've tried opening up to outside the board and having those in it reach out to friends...it helped somewhat but not enough and then it gets difficult tracking/getting money. With starting grad school in two weeks plus still working full time I need to limit "headaches" where I can. Maybe next year can bring it back.

Sad to hear that but congrats on grad school!

I still kick around the idea of going back for a met degree but I think that ship has sailed. Maybe some sort of a certificate though to enhance my forecasting knowledge.

There is zero wind today. You can tell me about lower dews and Sun angle all you want, it feels like one of the hotter days of the year.

88/64 in Jefferson, NH today. HNH (hot not humid) for the win. Not sure how anyone feels Christmasy at Santa’s Village in this weather but the park is packed. I guess it’s a preview of the North Pole in Tips GW future. We have avoided the Reindeer pens today. Frosty seems to have melted and sacrificed himself to the water park.

The only positive about lower dews with heat is dog poop dries faster so it's easier to pick up. Since the dog has been on prednisone since the winter and will be long-term, he is extremely gassy with very soft poop that explodes when you pick it up, so the low dews allows it to dry quickly. Other than this, no other benefit to low dews.
