Same in northeast Easton, at least it was a soaking rain.

Less than 5 miles south close to 1", always interesting to see how storms fall apart and regroup coming across the Bay

score another lightning show and heavy rain! some loud booms. very impressive with how vivid and long lasting this lightning is, and how stifling it was right before the storm.

way better than last summer!

Our flight from pvd was cancelled so we we drove home and went through that mess.  Phone was going off every few minutes with a new flash flood warning.  Not a fun drive.

The light to moderate rain behind the initial line pushed the total up to 0.78"

I can't remember a summer with this much cloudy, damp conditions. It's like winter but hot and humid instead of cold and damp. It's very frustrating for those of us that work outside and need dry conditions.

Record high minimum of 74F tied at Dulles Airport yesterday. A record high minimum of 69F was tied at Elkins, W. Va. for the second consecutive day. The urban heat contaminated records at DCA and BWI barely register the warmth.

Been a good month overall for rainfall here, not too low and not too extreme to cause issues in the garden, however, the very high dewpoints are causing lawn disease and increase the probability for tomato blight. 

Some areas not to far away with 3 to 3.5 inches or rain. Crazy storm gradient totals so close to each other.

.75" total from yesterday increases my July total to just under 1.25".  Grass is noticeably greener this morning.  Hoping like hell we can add something meaningful today or tomorrow.
