Not as much as I thought here. I just checked and it’s .80” so far, but that was legit.

There was discussion that the storms could initialize further east, my only beef is that they should trim the flood watch in the NW zones unless they think more will form.

Yest again everything misses and consolidates into a heavy solid line to the east.  It's truly incredible how different the summer climate is between my microdesert and places just 10-20 miles south and east.  With no rain for almost two weeks now, I can say

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 630 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Odenton, or over Crofton, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown,
           flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur.
           Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is
           likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Crofton and Odenton around 635 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Herald
Harbor and Crownsville.

Still raining some but appears to be at least a solid 1.5” so far. Great electrical storm. Temp only has fallen to 76°.
