The drought is dead. The last stubborn pond in my area is now finally full again. 1.80" here in the lowlands west of Annopoils. It's super lush and green. My cannabis plants are thigh high already lol

Nah, knocked back but not dead yet. Give me 6-8” of rain in June and I’ll be this guy

.89" yesterday, .87" today.  1.76" soaker over 24 hours.

And I don't think my AC has run in a week.  There aren't enough superlatives to describe this stretch of weather.

The closest wxunderground station is showing an insane 10.77" for this month.  I need to check my posts to see if I missed some rain at the beginning of the month.

With the final bit of true rain moving out, final tally is 1.82" at mi casa. A little more extra than what I was anticipating with my previous post. I'll gladly take it.

Hi/Lo 62/52 so far with the temp currently at 59. Incredible stretch of weather the past few weeks. Incredible 7.89" of rain this month with more to come on Friday. A run at 9" is certainly plausible

There are a few standout years (1907, 2003) but this is one of the coldest 9-day stretches we’ve seen during the end of May/beginning of June time frame and ranks up there as one of the top.

1907 was incredible. The cool pattern started May 20 and continued into mid June. DC had highs of 53, 54, 57, 59, and 62 in June alone.

Currently 57.6/56.0 here. The sun poked thru around 5 pm and we rose above 60 around 6 pm for the first time in 70 hours. Crazy for late May. Sitting at 7.60" thru this morning, looks like a tenth or so fell so far today (I say that as I'm watching the radar off to the SW heading this way, maybe some more later) and closing in on the record of 8.03 for the month back in 2009.

Considering your historical record dates fairly far back, having a record would be very impressive for the month. I hope we can get slammed and put the kibosh on the drought once and for all for at least half the region.

6z 3k NAM is massively different than 0z. Near total swing and a miss for tomorrow and Saturday. Hopefully just some bad chili from initialization.

Looks good to me. Kids haven't played softball in over a week and we *might* get an outfield only practice in tonight. HoCo needs to invest in a Dome or fix the drainage on their fields because it is taking FOREVER for them to dry out.

I am with you... This weekend is the final games of league play and conference tournament starts next weekend.  Very little time to get in any makeup games.  Our team is lucky that we do not have any makeup games... Some teams still have 3 or 4 makeup games and are already supposed to play 4 games  this weekend.

I’m on the EYO board and we’ve had this discussion/argument with Rec and Parks for ages. I think we’re finally close to getting approval to let coaches work on fields to get them playable. They’ve refused up until now and they don’t work particularly hard to get them playable.

Yeah we have the same problem here in Baltimore county.  They refuse to let us bring a tractor/4 wheeler on the fields to drag them.  They have to line and set out the bases. We have a group of parents that will rake the entire diamond to get it playable.  Oh and we are only allowed to use 2 bags of quick dry per field... any more than that, and the field is unplayable.   It is just plain stupid.  The tournament we were at in Elkridge this weekend... I was made aware that Howard county has the same issue as we do.
