CAPE
Nothing yesterday or overnight. About a quarter inch over the last 3 weeks. I was just outside watering the plants, and now have the sprinkler going on the new grass area. Pretty comfortable out there. Temp is 69 and it doesn't feel steamy. A giant 'T' for me last night, stuff all around in late afternoon and evening, I had just enough fall to wet surfaces..... Pretty foggy here this am, least it isn't as warm (61.7/61.0 currently). dailylurker
Looks like things are starting to pop. Another day with storms moving south to north. I've got some dark clouds developing to my south and radar confirms there's water starting to pour out of them. And there's the first rumble of thunder. batmanbrad
wondering how well that mass of stuff approaching Fredericksburg will hold together, if it does and with storm motion mostly south to north today, could get quite a dumping unless the storms around DC now stabilize things before the southern mass can get here. BlizzardNole
Our daughter in College Park said a lightning bolt out of nowhere hit real close to her apartment with sun shining. I looked at Radarscope and the bolt was indicated right where she is with the thunderstorm 5-7 miles away. That's what can make lightning dangerous! Based on radar, looks like everything is east today so I'm glad I watered the gardens this morning. Near shutout continues

Snowden
Lots of thunder in SE loudoun again, day 3 in a row for hail? Took a walk today and the entire neighborhood covered in shredded leaves. The storm pond filled up halfway yesterday and it’s probably a good 16’ deep. I wouldn’t be suprised if we’re approaching 6” of rain in the last 48 hours.
