Heh... some percentage of this event turned out to be ANA duping tho -

It's more of a hybrid ANA/ cyclone development sort of smear, and the cold came in and the rad dried out - that aspect behavior is the eye color of the ANA trait

Hey, no argument from me yeah.  I think I said this whole ordeal seemed over cooked to me the other day.  I was never too keen on it so ...ah well. It is what it is.

Changed to SN here at 12:30 ater .30 RA.  The P&C call of 1 PM for the switch was close, especially as I'm 2 miles NNW from town center.  No accum until 1:20 but about 3/4" since then in moderate snow, about 3/8 mile vis.  Probably an hour or so of this rate then lighter stuff.  I'm somewhat glad it's not a big event here, as I'm still on light duty following Tuesday's ablation procedure - even running the blower would be outside recommendations.  A couple inches of this every-twig frosting would provide beauty without hazards. (Other than for drivers)

Yea, I wasn't implying that you did...just using your ob as validation. I never even saw a flake here. Expected like a coating to an inch...over it.

Onto baseball, tropics and winter 2022-2023.

No high to the north, no blocking, storm not closing off, yeah too many factors working against us for this one. I know it’s way too early to say for sure, but what are your early thoughts on the Enso state for winter 2022-2023?
