This would be pretty amazing as we had 10 inches at 4 PM when I did the first snowplowing and it has been coming down pretty hard most of the time since.  We have a good chance of landing north of 20 inches if this is keeps going for a while.

Yeah like 4ish OTG and 3/4 - 1 mile vis for the last few hours. Kind of sucking exhaust between the band croaking EMA and the band in the Monads and W MA. Short term stuff crushes though so not super worried about a total screwjob.

I hope Methuen isn't in that...thankfully, I am on the east end of town....one time I am glad about that.

I guess the idea is it takes a great deal of good juju to pull a 3 foot monster with hurricane force gusts and drifts to the rooftops, especially on the Cape. Thus he used up his juju and he's still paying for it via regression.

Oh, I see. Although the true official jacks in that where actually Salem, MA and southern Plympton, MA near Carver, MA.

Yikes, wind is absolutely roaring now

Power is back now, it was gone for maybe a half hour and meanwhile I took a little drive across the area. So much fun.

The heavy band is just sitting over me and it keeps pounding. Total opposite of earlier this evening when the +SN went out of its way to avoid my area.

I'm not used to windy snow storms here.  Really storming out.  May need to suit up for another walk sans pooch.

Radar looks like a few more hours of decent rates.

Just got inside from first round of snow blowing. Absolutely pounding. About 2-3” per hour. Going on 11 inches now.

Persistent hole in the radar right over me, with nothing falling for at least the past half hour. Three hours since first flakes and we have about half an inch. Starting to get a sinking feeling about this one.
