Can someone explain what in the world the RMP model is?? Lovechild of RAP and Deep Thunder??

I have a greater chance of being called up by the Caps than DCA has at being 32 degrees at 9pm this evening.  :)

Its the best model ever!  Kidding...it's their in house short range computer model.  I don't know how accurate it is but I do notice a lot of times it is fairly conservative.

In Garrett County K2G4 (Oakland) now has 1SM visibility so it appears that snow has started there. It didn't take long after the echoes started moving overhead for precip to begin which isn't a bad sign. Granted they're in the mountains, but if we had a real dry air issue then it would take forever to precipitate even out there.

36/20 in Takoma Park.  I don't see why we wouldn't snow given the temp-->DP spread, the fact that it's coming in after dark, and there's no big push of warm air in the mid or upper levels right away.

33/29

Interesting that someone in this forum may be the snow jackpot from this storm (outside of the midwest).  Not looking too impressive up north.

Hrrr has been trending less in the way of accumulating snow. Hopefully the nam gives us love again.
