Snowy evening in the high country.  

Not high enough here at 750ft on the valley bottom.  Mangled flakes and rain at 36-37F.  

Looks like winter up high though.

We had enough to whiten the parts of the ground which had been in the shade when the sun was warming things in the AM.  It is almost all melted now.

.26 so far,  noted standing waves this morning.  Absolutely calm since about 530 am then a roar with spitting rain now quiet again 41 degrees

We had mixed rain and snow most of last evening with temperature around 35F

Fields are brown and pond is full.  Grass should greenup in the next week or two

25 hr of continuous RA thru 7 this morning for 1.83" total, maybe another tenth after that.  Yesterday's temps 39/33, classic early spring blecchh.  However, that was the first >32 minimum since Nov. 5.  Not much coming down here in AUG but a lot of air moving sideways.
