Lol is no one going to mention to wind and flooding. 12 electric poles collapsed on arsenal Street and the city is underwater

If I was currently sitting at a desk in Boston I certainly would be mentioning it.  All honesty MA coastline is just gonna get wrecked.

Ive never seen this happen around here Spanks. There isnt a micro climate around here that can contribute to such a gradient besides just being uber unlucky at the moment. I think it crashes very soon though.

I might have to take a drive down the road...it is a pretty crazy gradient. My temperature has started to fall over the last 30 minutes, so maybe it is coming.

Yeah can see that...maybe some melting parachutes nearing Kevin's hood and up into W ORH county and CT Valley too.

Seems like the 850mb warm layer has been elimintaed over CC on OKX. The melting layer still showing up around 925 hpa in S CT with the BL warmth.

Chiropractor/cardiologist special out there.  There's a lot of water in that snow.  Another branch took the cable wire off the house, had to tack it back on and a couple of pieces of the siding.  The irony is that a couple of weeks ago they rewired out there and did a really professional job but moved it get it out from threading through a pine.  So the pine dropped one on it from way up.

Should only be a matter of time now where heavy precip is...the latent cooling will occur fast in heavy precip. That's going to be the key to accumulations...moderate wont get it done. Gotta be pounding if we want to see warning snows materialize anywhere.

With dual-pol, what you're looking for is that ring of CC (correlation coefficient) around KBOX to gradually collapse towards the radar and get smaller.

Think of the area inside the ring as above freezing, the air outside the ring below. So you want to shrink the area inside the ring to signal colder air winning.
