And with Joaquin probably going OTS and only another .5-1" of rain in the forecast, the only action was from the frontal wave that gave a general 1-3". That was a combination of the easterly fetch occurring at the same time of the highest astronomical tides of the year. WaPo Posted October 1, 2015 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Initially I thought it would be a Jersey hooker, I still kinda do, but between Ida's remains forcing it south and the placement of the ridge to the north, there's really only two obvious options.
