We actually got 2 degrees higher later in the afternoon.... 27 - far from the forecasted 20.

A general concensus seems to be that this air mass seems to be 5-10 degrees warmer than progged on the models, for most locations

Sitting at 27.0. Made it to 32 and was supposed to be in the 20s, 14 last night , forcast of 9. We will see what tonight holds?

It did a couple days ago after the Monday storm passed. The new GFS has a big time bias on suspected snowpack...

It's still going to be wicked cold.  When an arctic front/clipper brings snow to my area it's highly anomalous.  It happens just not very often.  This air mass is something you see once every 10-20 years imo.  February is quickly becoming Fab and memorable in terms of cold.

not as cold as we had last January when it was 0 degrees here and we stayed in the low 20s all day with snow falling.

KCHS only reached 36 today, shattered the previous low maximum by 6 degrees!! 7 pm temp was 30 with a DP of -3!. 24 this morning. Funny tidbit: this time last year, KCHS was 83 (daily record high) with low of 56. Basically both extremes in just one year. 46 degrees colder for a high and 32 degrees colder for the low from last year's readings. It Could go below 24before midnight.
