mattie g
Has it been as good in DC as it looks on radar? It was fine. Nothing to get overly excited about, but a good top off to the event. Takes a little of the stink off.
WinterWxLuvr
Good if too short I know what you mean. I had 15 mins of snow since 8:30am. It's all good. It's cold and no drip. I'm happy.
hosj III
if you measured 6" then definitely record that. A half inch difference over just a couple of miles is pretty normal. I measure 5.2 and am well south of you... should I say 6 or 6.5?
NJDC Wx
Has it been as good in DC as it looks on radar? It ripped for about an hour. Probably picked up an extra inch.

dman
Finally past the dry slot, temp ticked up .7 degrees to 21.6, snowing moderately with normal size flakes now, occasional cotton ball. Between 3" and 4".
SLPressure
I measured 3.5" 20 minutes ago and it is SN+ right now. Radar says it won't end for a little while yet.
Stormpc
This finale has been very impressive for PWC. Many areas from Haymarket through Manassas into Woodbridge will finish with between 5.5 and 7 inches. Centreville included. Still heavy snow globe thing going on. gymengineer
So it looks like 4-7" DC metro off of a CWG 5-9" forecast and NWS 4-8"/6-10" forecast. Just 1" off at most, and actually spot on for the north of DC forecast.
PrinceFrederickWx
Still snowing hard here. :-) I'm guessing we have about 4-5 inches so far, but I haven't measured.
MDstorm
Cut-off was fairly sharp for the late morning/afternoon stuff. Final amount here is 4 inches. Other than a brief period of light snow, there was no accumulating snow here after 10:30 this morning (had to live vicariously through my brethren to the south). Not really complaining... just reporting. Still a nice March event, even if the south trend didn't quite stop in time for me. MDstorm
