I'm almost positive there was hail in it I thought the same thing in the beginning right when it started. Just big fat drops though. It sounded hail like. This thing def peaked near ALB and has been winding down since. No question. If this thing had a 850mb inflow jet it would have been a monster MCS... weatherwiz Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Had some debris in the roads coming down Rt 7 just north of Cannan on the MA side...there was a large tree down as well, being held up by something...possibly wires that was almost low enough to blow the road.
