ct_yankee
New bookend swirl will pass south of Greenfield. Not as big or intense as the other one was, but interesting all the same... Further south, some signs the southern part of the line may be starting to gust out in places.
HoarfrostHubb
It's basically a tight area of low pressure now. Sometimes these things just take a life on its own, it has mini feed back processes like warm fronts and cold fronts helping to aid that look. Landphoon!!! weatherMA
Interesting, the big bow developed a kink almost at the apex, which is now a new area of broad rotation. If that tightens... Could still get ugly - or even uglier - for central MA. I hope so!

CT Rain
Looks like the storm may be gusting out a bit. Gust front is starting to run out in front of the storm. May signal the beginning of the weakening trend.
moneypitmike
Great light show torrential rains. Had left for Boston but stopped in gfield for gas. Power went out just before I started pumping. Cams back home to be sure the lights or generator would be on. So a delayed trip but great lightning. Not too much thunder. Up to .55 in the last half hour. And there's a good clap. May signal the beginning of the weakening trend. Yep. It's starting to outrun the good air/highest CAPE values, and SBCIN is increasing... Could be the whole thing goes elevated and then dies a surprisingly quick death over the next hour or so... Maybe a lot sooner.

HIPPYVALLEY
Had about 5 minutes of absolutely torrential rain with gusty winds (peak gust of 25-30 mph is my guess). This was a lot tamer than radar led me to believe. Great light show but very little c/g. Saw a few bolts in the distance, the rest were bright flashes in the clouds. Have fun in C MA! BOX_warnings.png Going to neat to see the entire thunderstorm complex miraculously vanish upon attempting to cross from the watch box into eastern sections...where there's no watch.
