Yes, thecworst situation is to funnel water into the lake and then have a north wind push it down into the city as it passes. Someone told me at the end of the last thread that there was no chance if that happening sice there is no way that NOLA can get the western eyewall. A woman on the phone now has family members in 2 different houses with floodwaters up to the 2nd floor - she's also heard from them on Facebook.
