After 10 o’clock on the east side of Columbia and it is delightfully pouring outside right now, it looks like there’s a cell on radar right above the area, and growing a bit.

Received 0.24 down here today - first since Saturday- for a " event " total of 0.68....

Awesome, love Montana/Wyoming - drove through the two states once in late April 2021 on a around the country road trip ... Got to see one place that always fascinated me as a kid growing up as a American history buff trying to picture the scene in my mind - Little Bighorn , Custer's last stand battlefield... Drove south on 191 out of Bozeman through West Yellowstone along the Gallatin River toward Idaho- Most amazing views - incredible almost unreal scenic road...

We finally got under one of those nearly stationary cells. I think 0.8-1” or so between 10pm and this morning.

Still nothing lol. Today looks like another dry day. Maybe tomorrow I'll get something. Early next week looks great. Manageable temps and humidity along with some sunshine. Might as well get some nice weather since it's not going to rain.

That seems to be the story of the next few days. Efficient, but hit or miss rainfall.

The pattern of hot as hell then gray cooler skies seems to be the definition of this summer. Being able to have my blinds opened back up from the heat is nice though.

It’s not nearly as hot as last week but I still suffered in the humidity while working in the yard. I’m getting soft in my old age.

Yes, but may have something to do with me turning the AC off and opening the windows. That said, I noticed it before turning it off. Imagine has something to do with the indoor and outdoor temperature (at least in my house) being equal, thus the AC not running as often and therefore not dehumidifying at the same level?

Could be a dirty filter, or having the temp control(thermostat) set to run the fan all the time(On) instead of setting it to Auto.

Despite being outside hours most days this year, i got my first mosquito bites today. Guess its been wet enough for them to come out.

Looks like it’s been another mostly cloudy stretch there…I don’t miss that. Definitely replenishing my vitamin D tank in the Mojave, but it’s been legitimately breezy and gusty at times almost every day. I don’t remember it being like this on my prior trips.
