Lol. Down here, any equipment owner/operator is making well over 6 figures. Going rate is $800-1200/day depending on complexity. Forest mulchers are $1,500+ but that kind of work is dangerous and hard on equipment. Fun to watch though haha

See you in a couple of days! Lol

Nah, I retired. But that's great money, especially considering the cost of living vs metro areas.

Not saying its gonna go down like this (wrt HL blocking), but the last time it developed early in winter and became a sustained feature was 2009-10. Started as a Scandi h5 ridge then evolved into a legit west-based -NAO. We know what happened from there.

Yup. This is a Nino. No beach blizzards allowed.

I only realized after I drew it all that it was nearly a carbon copy of the February threat if it worked out. Blame my school for only teaching me the Norway model of cyclogenesis and me only learning meteorology in the past La Niña years. Maybe I’ll try again later with a more west to northeast progression and add in some dynamics to guide me.

Plenty of examples of Niño, Niña and Nada storms at this link.

JB’s top 6 analogs show what we’re facing. 3 has an HECS storm. The other 3 were snowless winters.

Well that does seem like the 2 options. Probably no middle ground, so weird that he sorta averaged them together lol
