It's okay to be disappointed, and put it down in words here.  It's the tone that matters.

I feel bad that the storm was not as prolific for others as it could have been.  That being said, there's always winners and losers in these big storms.  It's rare that everyone wins because what produces the snow on the north west side of these storms is banding, and it's almost impossible to have bands that cover our entire region to make everyone a winner.  It truly is like going to the casino - only a few are going to jackpot. Usually for my area to win, somewhere else has just cashed in their last snow chip without a good return.

At the end of the day, it's just weather, and we aren't in control of it.  It's nice we see all four seasons in New England.  I can't imagine, even when I get a 20" winter, living somewhere where you don't get the variety of weather you get here.

LOL mine bottoms out on his belly and his feet are still a foot from the ground! Where he's standing is in front of the shed where the snow blower is. Snow is about 25" deep!

Not at all.  That didn't even enter my mind.  I'm thinking government waste and corruption, bridges falling down in disrepair, high taxes and cost of living.

Providence has received 32.8" of snow so far. That smashes the old record of 28.6" from the Blizzard of 1978 (February 6-7, 1978).

Lurking here, but according to NWS Boston, it sounds like Providence has bested the Blizzard of ‘78 with 32.8”! 16.5” coming in the last 6 hours!

Moderate snow right now here 23F. Even at the lower end of predictions here we have well over 2 feet otg. It's a beautiful winter scene out there. Maybe a little more during the week and perhaps more than a little more early next week after a mild weekend. Not too shabby as March comes in, especially after a few lean years. I'm playing my grateful card.

Picture taken a couple hours ago another inch or two in moderate snow since. Don't expect a whole lot more now.

13.5" storm total based on average taken from multiple spots - couple inches less than 1/25 but this was a much more impressive event with the wind. 

Up to 50" on the season - best since 17/18.

And now a 33.5" report from 2 E Providence. Clearly an all time storm for the city along with Feb 1978.

That is MORE Willfully Miserable.   This is the Biggest Storm in RI since 1978 and it’s Whatever here in far northern RI.  Worse For Boston though so.    

I'm not questioning your measurement, so much as your philosophical outlook. You think about the ideal thing you don't have rather than the very good thing you have.

1:15pm measurement. 1.0” new. 20.8” total. It’s been mostly light snow or even just flurries since 8:30ish. A little bit steadier for the past hour or so.

That was one of the most brutal beat downs ive ever witnessed. 3.8" under a ws warning. But dont worry it happened again on Mar 21st with 2". Good winter but some really bad busts in there
