It’s an imby sport always, isn’t it? We all want the Ivt. I can tell you it won’t end up over my yard, but I’m rooting for it to. They always end up east…but the low isn’t pulling east too much so who knows. Current mesoanalysis on spc has it a bit west of modeling.

I don’t believe it is. Euro has it a good bit more meaty. They can be very narrow but the storm isn’t moving quickly and there’s a lot of dynamics at play. Like I said earlier, it should sweep through most but where is it going to do its parking?

It’s interesting to see the 601 traffic cam in Bluemont VA has a coating, but others around the area don’t.

It’s weird all around. I have more snow than folks 200 ft higher elevation than I do.

Dang ... 0.25 earlier all melted... off and on rain snow.... Suddenly turned into a full on blizzard down here in Waynesboro in the past ten min... gusty winds . Another 0.25 in ten minutes... Road actually caved at 35 temp.

Check out the VDOT cams for Markham and Linden on 66.  Nothing at Markham and moderate snow at Linden.  They are about 4 miles apart.

I'm not sure this makes it better or worse for anyone still dealing with rain/snow.  It's been snowing here near Hagerstown since at least 9:00 - 9:30, but not with much effect.  Have some accumulation on grass and a little bit on the drive, but when the snow slacks off it quickly melts.  Any real sticking has to wait till closer to darkness.

This is just a 1-hour snowfall map. The band itself is supposed to slowly move west to east if I understand correctly. It should affect more than 10 miles across over its full duration
