Camp David reporting heavy snow and an indefinite sky. Might be a decent sign that it's cold right off the surface and we won't waste *too* much time flipping once heavier returns get in here.

While the Camp David ASOS is around 1,800 feet, the Thurmont mesonet site is in town at a much lower elevation and they're about to hit 32 degrees. Looks like the colder air might be trying to win out?

You got any experience with how they plow out Milford? I’ve been eyeing it this morning. Or any of our DE folks. Hoping I could maybe get out Tuesday evening but ideally Monday lol

Dude just go to Rehoboth. There will be plenty of snow there, and actually places to go for good food and drinkies. You will get great shots and vids walking down Rehoboth Ave to the beach. And ofc right at the beach. I'm telling ya. Book it and go now.

37 and 0.12" of rain so far

What's the weenie rule for wet, warm ground? Subtract a couple inches?B)

Well, that could be offset by the other weenie rule:  coming out of an extended cold period where the ground was covered in a glacier, add those couple inches back?  So you sort of break even?   You'll have to send some photos of your place (like your avatar picture), with what you get later today and tonight!

33 and precip to my south. Rained at some point earlier given wet ground. mPING reports of a mix to my west, and snow north of me in PA. Expecting a mix or all snow when precip comes north

I think you get 6" - 10". You're sitting in a really good spot.

Beach and food and drink is cool but I'll I'd be trying to do is be trying to leave late Monday (doubtful) or Tuesday and ideally not lose power while being sorta close to DC and on a main road.
