Wait, the pic of the weinermobiles on a racetrack posted earlier wasn't some kind of ai generated meme?   I can't tell if I preferred knowing or not knowing the truth about that.

Yeah, they got all of them at Indy earlier this year and had a "race" with them.

I was wondering if someone with more knowledge could help me understand the soundings and non-optimal snow growth we're seeing. Looking at the observed 0z Monday sounding for GYX that just came out, it looks like the most saturated parts of the column are in the DGZ, but the saturation is incomplete. I'm wondering we have the right temps here but the reason we're seeing finer powder / plates instead of large dendrites is the lack of saturation. Am I understanding this correctly?

We’ve had pretty bad snow growth since about 6….but it’s been absolutely puking snow so it’s still piling up quickly. CF is knocking on the door but no change in snow growth yet.

Didn’t melt anything down but it’s prob around 13 to 1 or so. We had some great ratios earlier in the afternoon but recently it’s been baking powder.
