My lessons at Jiminy cancelled so I took 10 runs and headed home.  About 2" of fresh poweder on top of groomed corduroy.  Amazing silky skiing.  8F when I left and dropped to 4F as I headed west into the Hudson Valley.  Roads were not good.  I hit one spot where a plow that was 2/3 as wide as the road was coming the other way and yikes.  Then I hit a steep uphill that I almost couldn't get up.  Glad I left when I did.  Glad to be home.  White knuckle drive.  Clearing my snow board at 2:15 (started 8:15) and I think there will be about 4.5".  Flakes are medium.  Decent snow growth, but could be better.

Impatiently waiting here.   I did manage to shovel the deck of 6-8" from I have no idea when.

NE of Boston and we had a nice band come through earlier - but we are also back to arctic sand

Frontogenesis and omega should be increasing (well if we want to be technical omega values decreasing) over the next few hours so we should probably see some much more uniform snowgrowth I would think.

Snow growth is ok here….pretty good actually.  Was better earlier but now getting better again.  Snowing heavily for sure-visibility <1/4 right now.

First hour or 90 min here was pure baking powder. Had to get into the 20-25 dbz stuff before seeing good snow growth.
