Been snowing quite nicely for a bit now at lake Anna. Struggling to stick though. I think if it can keep up for another hour or 2, can get that coating.

Man this has been awesome. It’s stuff like this that got me into meteorology where for some reason it just starts doing something outside. Looking at radar standardsville and the eastern slopes of the Shenandoah may be a fun hike tomorrow. Must be some localized upslope from the wind direction.

The radar is filling in nicely west of here. It might be an enjoyable couple of hours this evening!

Be careful heading out this evening as once the sun sets, untreated roads could become an ice rink.

Honestly, the little super light snow is more than I expected with Round 2. Enough for a light dusting so far, and with temps dropping and sun going down, some colder parts of sidewalks and driveways caving.
