dryslot
Upper levels are marginal on temps, H92 -0C, H85 -1C, Early season that's not going to cut it for all snow here.
HIPPYVALLEY
35/34. Had some moderate rain earlier, but lighter now. About .20” tonight:
powderfreak
Got up to 37F today, melting out the valley fields to reveal deep green. Snow really is poor man’s fertilizer… less than a 1,000ft higher saw a high of 32F and very healthy snowpack on the ground.

What we need to see is some NAO ridging which does show some signs at the end of the run. I don’t expect us to have legit threats until after first week of December. Anything before is gravy. I’m not the biggest fan of seeing that Bering Sea ridge. It’s not a bad thing, but it’s far enough west to keep the PNA negative too. Personally just would like to see it more east. Ya that's been sneakily trending West.. I don't mind pushing back to Dec 10 if we can have some real winter Dec 10 to Dec 31 for a change.. 1
