No hurricane is coming lol, but the trend with 98L has been further south and west given its overall structure.

I do think there’s a legitimate chance that some moisture gets entrained in the end of month trough swinging in from the west, but we’re an eternity away from all that.

It’s highly unlikely to impact the U.S. but if the trough taps into the moisture feed or even better somehow 98L gets partially absorbed into a big trough we could get some interesting wx, but more boredom is most likely.

When you gonna realize the main reason it's so expensive here is that there are no hurricanes or tornadoes And it doesn't feel like you live on Venus half the year like south of 35N.

EPS is interesting though.. I've seen two tornadoes in my life so can't say none

I picked 3 medium sized bell peppers, 1 banana pepper, a handful of cherry tomatoes and 3 regular tomatoes today. Still some green ones left on the vines and flowers blooming. The lack of sun probably prevents much new growth . But with zero cold anywhere in sight.. summer marches on .

Thats incredible .. most of my plants got nuked when it hit 29 on the 10th. Still got some beefsteak and roma tomatoes going strong that were planted in the ground though! 

2 years ago had peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, etc go strong til 11/1!

These are all in the ground . The only issue they’re  right in the path of leaf blowing and I had to tiptoe around them on Saturday . Imma give them another week or so and see if anything blooms into fruit and if not , I’ll yank them . But I get no freeze here till early- mid Nov

At 1.15" here.

The western slope communities east of BTV in Chittenden County have gotten crushed.  They got trained by several narrow bands of heavy rainfall and now the ULL and upslope flow is cranking.

There are spots over 3" and pounding rain east of BTV.  They could do 4"+ in this event.

1.35” so far. The incredible part is that with 3” of rain in the past 2 weeks the river has barely risen. In spring we’d be at flood stage.

Same here and we've had a lot more rain. Even in the low spots my woods which rarely don't have water... nada

I ended up with .97”.
