Hope we can all get near an inch at least This is the latest from the WPC concerning this time period. Will be interesting to monitor future trends. 87storms
Today’s weather was a dime…possibly the nicest day of the year.

Wife and I went for a hike/walk around Beverly-Triton State Park and it was absolutely immaculate out. Temps in the mid-70s with a breeze off the Bay. Honestly couldn't ask for much better.
wxmeddler
Needed more wind or more fair weather cumulus. But a 9/10 day. Gulf Stream low getting pulled north looks interesting coming into the weekdays.

high risk
It's pretty clear that there will be a tight gradient on the northern side of the precip shield Tuesday-Wednesday. For those of us north of DC, the question is whether we're in the decent amounts.
WxWatcher007
There should be some rain but I am still a bit skeptical of whether the heavier rain gets into the DC area given the gradient and potential track of the low. 1
Bob Chill
Great outdoor work wx but it's a dry dust bowl lol. Ran into a mom and some cubs today. There were 3 cubs but could only get 2 in a pic. I was about 100yds away. Black bears around here are curious but keep their distance... thankfully... lol

They’re around in Frederick as well, but haven’t seen one biking yet…though did see one scurry across Hamburg Rd a couple years ago. Might have been the one that had been recently released.

Been seeing them a lot this year. Prob once a week. My son hit (and killed unfortunately) a young male driving back in July. I think the population must be up because there are reports of them getting into trash in more developed areas around smith mtn lake as well. There's a ton of undisturbed forest around here so frequent sightings must be part of a population increase. Deer have definitely boomed and a few too many coyotes are running around. Coyotes are the only animals that I wish weren't around. They will kill dogs and our dog will chase anything lol. Bears stay clear of dogs
IronTy
We've had this one creeping around our cabin the past few nights. Neighboring guys got a pic of an entire family with four cubs this week as well. Luckily they don't hunt bear, only deer.

I’ve definitely almost hit a few of them. But honestly, there might have been more around my aunt and uncle’s place in Derwood back in the day. They were all over that part of Rock Creek.
