it's not moving at all?

Maybe if you turned on a fan you could force it to move lol

I'm just glad I caught a bit of a break because every time it rains it's biblical.

Just had another massive burst of rain. Now it's practically stopped. But I see it will be back very soon on radar.

Saw a 4.13” pixel right near Douglaston. Too bad it refuses to move and it’s probably helping to stabilize the setup here and elsewhere since now it’s just cloudy and windy here from the outflow boundaries all over the place.

It’s like hitting a wall over NYC. Can’t fathom how this is happening yet again

the old 7-10 split here-NAM seems to have been right with a screw zone in b/w the stuff to the north and south

It’s here raining but the heavy stuff is north and south, and the south stuff is hitting a wall it appears and won’t get up here even on an ene heading.

Dangerous flash flooding being reported with that back building cell near Bayside.

I live right near there!

I was right on the edge just NW of the cell's path and still managed almost 3 inches of rain.

Reflectivity

Hi neighbor rain has slowly started to pick up here. I still bet we somehow manage to pick up 2-3 inches out of this you can see the western area with some strong reflectivity that should push into our area. Obviously not like further south but we should get our fair share!

Your area might get slammed. The seabreeze/outflow boundary sagged south after the Smithtown/Hauppauge storms and the storm over Nassau County now looks to be following that boundary.

How much rain? Im in obx with several piscataway people and they are wondering.

.11 on my station

I got only 0.10" from the t-storm that brushed my area earlier. Now we're starting to add to that a little bit with some steady light to moderate rain and I'm up to 0.15" for the day so far. To me it appears I'm not going to get too much rain today. Maybe we end up with a quarter inch, just barely enough to water the garden. I was hoping for more significant rain today.
