If you’re sitting inside not doing anything except typing sure . If you’re doing yardwork, exercising, washing car etc.. you’re undies and shirt on lower back is drenched and sweats pouring off forehead the way summer should be . Certainly not their definition of Coc k

Definitely agree, dew point was mid 60s all day. Was very warm in the sun but dry just hanging out by the pool, however just moving around a bit you really notice the humidity.

Should be drought stricken and hot . Good time to swim in the lake, sleep in AC and drink TH

It's the right time to embrace it for sure.  Summer weather on lake time.  Days are relaxed and easy, no work, no shoes, floating around with a Julius.  Time to make the most of heat and humidity.  The Woodstock Fair on Labor Day weekend too.  Entire immediate family will be there all week too... plus extended family that also summers there.  Should be a good time.  Looking forward to some time down there.

BDL has 2 temps over 96F in their September history.

BOS:

102 (9/7/1881) Would love to see how this happened

Also hit 95 on 9/26, and 90 on 10/1 that year

100(9/2/1953)

99 (9/11/1983)

97 (9/3/1929),(9/20/1983),(9/11/2013),(9/6/2018)

The heat in sept 1953 is the most impressive sans whatever happened in 1881 IMO

Even ORH hit 99 on the hill in 1953
