Bob's dead on -- once it hits it is hot and heavy. More than makes up for the wait.

Closing in on 0.5" now, 32/25

Crazy.. I am a little east of you and fringed by that first band.. wow! I saw pictures of everything covered just west of Hillsboro! so close! Seems echos are picking up in my backyard now.

Forgot to mention in my earlier post that the drive from Winchester to Harrisonburg was OK. 81 from New Market south is snow covered. But traffic was moving fine. Still dumping here in Harrisonburg. The afternoon drive home should be fun.

SPC has them -2 to -4 for most of us.

Returns are starting to green as they move toward the metro. Be interesting to see how it turns out.

Where you at? Your location says Harlem.

mPING reports suggest its snow/mostly snow in Dale City and just outside Oakton, which at least means that the rain/snow line won't be too far away from the metro -- if it starts as rain at all.

43F at the office.  But I have only one question.  How can @nw baltimore wx and @Scraff be drinkin already on a Tuesday?  don't you punks work?

well HoCo got out early, and I think NWB is a HS teacher, so he's done for the day

Scraff literally works for a brewery (or the like) so, makes sense.

That changes things.  A HS teacher?  He deserves it.
