BlizzardNole
Wow that's got to be a fun rush hour around DC! It's going to be strange seeing the temps fall all day tomorrow to about 60 by evening. Going from July to October in a day.

The Dude
Not much in the way of wind, but tons of lightning and rain. At least a dozen bolts hit within a half-mile of Farragut Square. Great light show.
osfan24
Ummmm radar not looking so hot for Ellicott City right now. Where is the flood warning there? I'm to the east of that activity and can hear pretty constant thunder. It's gotta be dumping there and it just keeps stalling and re-forming. osfan24
Finally put out a Flood Warning there. Looks like that area might be trying to shift a bit to the south but it's been dumping good there for about an hour now.

osfan24
Big storm near Columbia. Thankfully, a lot of it shifted south of Ellicott City but it looks like there may be some re-development, as well as more storms to the west.

09-10 analogy
Round two of the T&L variety show cranking to my NW in MontCo. These past few weeks have produced some big boomers IMBY. Not much wind and no hail, but the cannonade action has been impressive. Now the second round today of full-figured raindrops coming through. nj2va
When I left Orangetheory in Old Town, it started to downpour which felt great to walk in after my workout. Then lightning hit a few blocks away and I nearly **** my pants...ran to my car after that. Really impressive rain and T&L with those storms here. No more rain, though. Spoke too soon. Picked up roughly another inch. now at 2.10. The yellows have moved out. Had the whole enchilada: rain, thunder, lightning. Lighting was more cloud to cloud. Earlier, it was more hitting the ground. There was a cell that developed in my area then that blob from the S SW overtook it. I checked DCA when this 2nd round started and they were already at 2". Pretty sure that they picked up some more. It's a rare day when DCA logs more rain than me.
