It was just my shorthand description for non-accum snow while looking out the window. There is light across the region during this current period. If we want darkness, we need this sun star to not be in the sky at all. As it stands right now at 9:57am EST, the star known as "the sun" is shining light on our area. For the next 6 hours, this light is a Saint Louis to East coast star.
