coh Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Don't forget the Jan 82 and April 82 events, not huge but that April one was freakish and cold too. I was at MCC at the time, transferred to RU. Son goes there now. They still screw you over, but the food is better and they have better marketing... It's funny, what I remember from the April 82 storm (which I think was about 8") was, all the robins that had already returned for spring were running around on the cleared paths...there was no open grass for them. BTW, I think the 1983 storm was the last time I experienced thundersnow. Way overdue on that. Glad to hear the RU screw is alive and well!
