I know there were pockets of snow showers, but no defined large squall line, sometimes associated with the leading edge of an extreme arctic front. It was always a rain event for us. This is an upstate NY winter storm, period. We are doing the equivalent of farting against thunder and pissing into the wind trying to make this a winter threat for the metro area.
