about 5" here (unofficial measurement).

this was a helluva storm considering it started out as a rain producer.  the cold ground and the snow on snow helped make this is a legitimate storm.

this is the 4th storm i've had this winter with 4"+.

successful and i'm now ready for spring.

Montgomery County Public Schools are closed on Friday, March 6, 2015 due to emergency weather conditions. All school and community activities in school buildings also are canceled. Administrative offices will open two hours late. Day care programs in school buildings may open at 10:30 a.m. ‪#‎MoCo‬ ‪#‎MCPS‬ ‪#‎MDWx‬

What's causing that last band coming south in PA? Seems like it is almost disconnected from the storm itself.

Edit: saw someone questioning a 9 inch total somewhere. Can say for certain and with pics that we have 9 inches on the M/D line, so those totals are out there.

Its the actual arctic front getting ready to come through. And I can confirm its light snow. Nothing like earlier obviously but its decent anyways.
